Kiera was born with the rare ability to dream about the future. She uses her skills both for herself, and as a trade. She built up a reputation at a young age. Her Mother was an Australian Native. Her father was an old Mexican shaman. When Kiera was a young child, her dreams frightened her to the point where she feared bedtime. However, both parents influenced Kiera with their spirituality and taught her how to use her skill in the best light. They helped her understand that dreaming was not a curse, but instead, a gift. She lived with her parents in a traveling caravan for most of her life. Luckily, her fame granted the caravan passage through many dangerous parts in the south. However, when they entered the Mid West, people changed. Fewer knew about her ability, and many refused to believe her. Her father died when she was 23, and her mom soon afterwards. She stuck with the caravan for a few years after the death of her parents, but eventually decided that it was time to settle down. Aside from communicating with the spiritual world, Kiera creates beautiful hats, socks, mittens, sweaters, and other clothing items to trade for food and other supplies. |
